Ocean 2360 is a generative ambient music for meditation and relaxation. It can be used as a sonic background for any activity requiring a calm and relaxing environment: yoga, iaido, chi gong, tai chi, coding, reading, etc. The track is more than an hour long and never ending if you loop it back at the end.

Ocean 2360 is a meditative journey composed of six parts:

00:00 Stand on hills and valleys of endless ocean waves,
10:25 The remembering of a million voices singing,
20:25 Distant abyss will be reached after the memories trail,
30:25 Listen to the beauty of ancient forgotten tales,
40:25 See the dawn of light in the deep blue sea,
50:25 What happened to our wonders.

Each of these six parts is based on the same longform harmonic sequence, but with different soundscapes of multiple layers that interwove with one another to create a rich tapestry of sounds.
The sequence itself was generated by Angelia using its original cellular automata algorithm. While most of today’s songs are based on short and simple chord progressions, this sequence includes 80 clusters, creating a complex harmonic soundscape. These hills and valleys of consonances and dissonances are uncommon and yet familiar. Clusters of notes evolve from one to another, leading to unpredictable harmonic patterns, but with a clear perception of their self-similarity. This evolution is typical of natural phenomena occurring at the edge of order and chaos. It has been shown that this frontier in the phase space is where interesting behaviors emerge, including life forms.

Clear your mind of any thinking. Follow the rhythm of the harmonic waves to slow down your breathing. Focus your attention to the present-moment experience and you will reach a mentally clear, emotionally calm and stable state.
